In this video I detail what I think is the best way to handle the scenario that will inevitably come up for you during cold approaches at some point where the girl says that she has a boyfriend
Many times, when cold approaching girls who are unsure, or are actually not interested they will say they have a boyfriend just to get rid of you.
Other times, they actually have a boyfriend and aren’t interested.
And sometimes, they have a boyfriend but ARE still interested.
Regardless, you obviously aren’t a mind reader so the approach you should take to all possible scenarios is exactly the same.
Try and push the interaction as far as possible regardless of which it may be.
If she actually has a boyfriend and isn’t interested, this will become apparent shortly.
However, if she is interested, by simply changing the topic by continuing the conversation, you will notice the topic of a “boyfriend” suddenly is completely forgotten.
So, if a girl says “I have a boyfriend” my response could be “so what are you up to” or literally anything else other than a direct response to the “I have a boyfriend” statement.
If the response “I have a boyfriend” comes up when you are literally asking for her number or out on a date, then the same rule applies. Brush it off and continue as normal. She will either give you the number or she won’t.
The net result is that you have lost nothing, but you have everything to gain, so why would you not go for broke.
Another alternative scenario that may occur is that she may say “we can be friends” in which case you will have to make a judgment call whether you want to proceed or not.
For me personally, I wouldn’t, although in the past I have with success.
Basically, the take-away of this is that when a girl says “I have a boyfriend” it doesn’t always mean that she actually has a boyfriend, nor does it always mean that she isn’t interested.
You still have to have the judgment to recognize when it’s time to back off and move on, but if you bail on every single situation where this statement arises, you will likely miss out on a decent amount of opportunities.
