Ingredients
Gorilla Youth Serum is made in a FDA and EPA registered facility in the United States and features certified organic ingredients.
Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, Soluble Collagen, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Algae (Seaweed) Extract, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Allantoin
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera): Aloe contains many different antioxidants that keep the skin hydrated and firm.
It also has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation, and expedite the healing process.
It is commonly used to effectively heal eczema, acne and psoriasis.
Aloe also helps treat sunburns, and acts as a fantastic moisturizer without giving a greasy feel to the skin, or contributing to an oily complexion [1,2,3].
Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic Acid is naturally occurring in the body, and it is present between the skin cells.
This is what is largely responsible for providing most of your skin’s moisture and firmness, as well as keeping it plump, smooth, and wrinkle free.
As you age, your Hyaluronic Acid levels in the skin start to diminish.
This is very significant after the age of 40, and it is largely way skin ages the way it does.
By using Hyaluronic Acid on a regular basis in your skin care routine, you can greatly slow down the aging process of your skin, and even take several years off of it in many cases.
Every skin type benefits from Hyaluronic Acid application, as it increases hydration and skin elasticity, as well as reversing free radical damage.
It quite literally draws water/moisture directly into the skin, and plumps it up, effectively reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles upon the first use for many individuals.
All of these benefits contribute to the end result of an overall younger appearance to the skin [4,5,6,7,8].
Soluble Collagen: Collagen is an ingredient in many cosmetic products, as collagen is a mesh of fibers in the skin that greatly determine how young your skin looks.
Much like Hyaluronic Acid, the amount of collagen in your skin diminishes as you age.
Traditional collagen products on the market feature standard collagen, which is essentially useless as the molecules are too big to pass through the skin’s pores, consequently preventing it from penetrating the surface of the skin.
Soluble collagen’s molecules on the other hand have been broken down into much smaller fragments than standard collagen, allowing it to penetrate the skin’s surface.
Once soluble collagen has penetrated the skin’s surface, it has a firming and moisturizing effect on the skin by slowing down the rate of water loss from the skin. This keeps the skin looking more supple, and younger [9,10,11].
Algae (Seaweed) Extract: Algae Extract not only moisturizes and softens the skin, but it provides instant hydration and protects your skin from free radicals that cause skin aging.
This is accomplished through a variety of antioxidants present in Algae Extract, as well as via a variety of vitamins that it is packed with (Vitamins A, B, C and E are the most notable) [12,13,14].
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5): Panthenol is converted into Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) once it penetrates the lower skin layers.
After topical application, Panthenol works by improving skin hydration, reducing inflammation, expediting wound healing, treating sunburns, and adding a heightened level of moisture.
It infuses water into the skin cells, retaining its’ moisture deep in the tissue itself [15,16,17].
Tocopherol (Vitamin E): Tocopherol is another name for Vitamin E.
It works by hydrating and moisturizing the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tightening and firming the skin, and protecting the skin from environmental stressors [18,19,20].
Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil: Avocado Oil has a unique ability to penetrate the skin deeper than other oils, making it a great option for softening and moisturizing sensitive and dry skin.
It has an abundance of Vitamin A, B1, B2, D and E and works by regenerating skin, protecting it from the aging effects of ultraviolet light and environmental toxins, and promoting an accelerated rate of healing [21,22,23].
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM): MSM enhances collagen bundles and keratin, both of which are essential for healthy, youthful looking skin.
It also improves skin elasticity, skin tone, and keeps the skin firmer.
MSM also increases the bioavailability and absorption of the other ingredients in this formula [24,25].
Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract: Grean Tea Leaf Extract contains Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), which not only has potent antioxidant effects, but also anti-carcinogenic effects.
EGCG actually reduces the chance of skin cancer caused by UVB exposure, and has a positive effect on the body’s immune system.
Green Tea Leaf Extract is also a potent anti-inflammatory, especially for UV related inflammation, and it has even proven be extremely effective in reducing redness and itchiness caused by Rosacea.
It also supports anti-aging by drastically improving the elastic tissue content of the skin, which may support the reversal of even substantial amounts of photoaging [26,27,28].
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C): Vitamin C works as a very potent antioxidant and anti-aging agent.
Vitamin C improves skin hydration, evens out uneven skin tone, firms the skin, and protects the skin from environmental toxins [29,30,31].
Allantoin: Allantoin stimulates the growth of healthy skin and cell regeneration.
It also soothes and softens the skin, all of which contribute to much younger looking skin [32,33,34].

Who Should Use This Product?
Consider this product if you are over 28 years old, or if you look older than you are.
For a guy who doesn't fall into either of those categories, I would just recommend taking measures to prevent acne, keeping your skin moisturized, and using sunscreen when you are in the sun for extended periods of time in order to delay the aging process.
An anti-aging serum for a 20 year old for example would be a waste of their time/money.
For someone who DOES fall into one of those two categories though, having an awesome anti-aging serum that you use daily can make a VERY significant difference on how old you look, and greatly improve your overall complexion.
