Shelf Life Of GH And Peptides
There are a lot of strong opinions about how long kits of GH and peptides last before degrading in room temperature, versus in a fridge, versus in the freezer.
Most people are getting these products through black market means.
The transition of GH and peptides from origin to seller, to likely a middleman, to you, can be months.
There's so much ship time that these compounds aren't being refrigerated for, and 99% of the time they're not shipped with ice packs or anything to keep them cold.
Yet, nobody complains about degradation upon receiving their products.
The funny thing is how many guys freak out that it needs to be thrown in the fridge right away, or the 10 minutes it took for them to drive from the post office to put it in their fridge.
When in reality, it has been sitting out of the fridge for months already.
The stability of these products is a lot longer than you probably think.
Some even believe that if you left a peptide out of the fridge overnight it is probably bunk and might as well be trashed.
That's not the case guys.
How Long Will GH And Peptides Last Out Of The Fridge?
GH and peptides last for months without significant degradation in room temperature out of direct sunlight if they have not been reconstituted.
Reconstituted GH and peptides last for weeks, if not months still, in room temperature out of direct sunlight.
The fragility of the peptide in question will cause variation in this figure, however, in general, it is much longer than most believe.
Just to give you a real-life example, my friend had a mixed vial of Melanotan II sitting in his girlfriend's purse for half a year.
He went through the entire summer with this reconstituted vial of Melanotan sitting in her purse, and even went on vacation at one point.
It had been through a substantial amount of shaking and high temperatures, which are both complete no-no's when it comes to peptide storage.
Most would assume that it would be completely degraded and bunk by that point.
He tried it, and there was literally no difference in potency from the day he got it.
Even I was surprised.
Now, this isn't indicative of every peptide.
Some are more sensitive than others, like IGF-1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) and GH for example, which are far more sensitive than Melanotan II in my opinion.
Standard Storage Procedures To Maximize Shelf-Life
If you want to store unmixed peptides long-term, put them in the freezer.
If your GH or peptides have been reconstituted, store them in the fridge.
These standards will extend the shelf life of these products for maximum duration.
If you accidentally left your kit out overnight or it was in your car overnight, don't freak out and trash your product.
These compounds are a lot more stable than we've been led to believe on the forums.
Obviously, I would advise using proper storage procedures to maximize the lifespan of these products.
At the end of the day, if you screw up by accident, your stuff is probably fine, and will likely have barely degraded, if at all.
